Summer Volunteer Registration opens online 5pm 4/1: https://tinyurl.com/mpl-srvoL25
Mason Public Library invites reliable teens who:
- live in Mason or Deerfield Township
- will complete 6th-12th grade in Spring 2024,
- have a Mason Public Library Card,
- submit parent-signed volunteer waivers at the training meeting,
- and attend a mandatory Training Session:5/10/25Sat. afternoon or 5/12/25 Mon. evening.
- can work independently after instruction
to assist with our Summer Reading Program during June, July, and early August.
2025 Summer Volunteers: Register online starting 4/1/24 5PM - until 100 sign up. Registration closes once 100 teens register. There is no waiting list.
Registration is just the first step toward volunteering. Attending training on May 10 Saturday afternoon or May 12 Monday evening, submitting signed releases, and purchasing a library volunteer shirt are also required before you can volunteer this summer.
We accept volunteers completing 6th-12th grades during Spring 2024.
