Registration is required. See below for pickup details. This event is designed to be done at home while watching the Disney classic "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey" rated G.  The movie is NOT included with the kit. There may be some cutting and assembly required before playing.

We're providing the goodies and the fun for you to plan your very own family movie night! Each kit will include a script to follow along with activities throughout the movie, gizmos aplenty to make the fun interactive, and sometimes even a snack or two for good measure.

July Movie description: Three pets escape from a California ranch and embark on a dangerous quest to find their owners. (rated G)

After registering, your kits will be available for pickup July 12th through 17th at the checkout counter of the Mason Public Library  during our scheduled pickup hours. You must pick up your kit by July 17th or it will be released to those on the waiting list. Homeward Bound is available to check out from the library's DVD collection or you can watch it on Disney+ or rent it on streaming platforms for under $5. 

PLEASE REGISTER ONLY FOR THE NUMBER OF KITS YOU NEED, which may not be the number of people watching. For example, a parent assisting one young child but not using their own separate kit should only register ONCE for one kit. A family with two people who each need kits should register two people. A family of five who wants to watch and play together should register FIVE people.

There are many actions listed in the script. Prereaders will need help.

You must pick up your kit(s) at the checkout counter of the Mason Public Library during our open hours by June 19th. Pickup hours are listed below. On May 19th, the remaining kits will be made available to those on the waiting list. I will send out an email on June 21st notifying the waiting list folks about pickup times and how many unclaimed kits are available, first come, first served. Masks are required for pickup, please.

Note to those on the Waiting List: We usually have only a dozen or so unclaimed kits on 7/21, so... We will send an email with links to instructions and printables for a DIY home version to all those on the waiting list once all the kits are picked up. Many more families are registering than we have kits and we hate for anyone to miss the fun!
