June Craft Kit: Pickup begins

June Craft Kit: Pickup begins

Registration is required. See below for pickup details. This kit is designed to be used at home while watching the June craft videos from our Page Turner Animal Adventures program or attending the weekly elementary Zoom program with Ms. Cheryl. These crafts are best for older preschoolers to early elementary children with adult assistance. Additional supplies are required that we do not provide in the kit.

The directions are NOT included with the kit. Each week in June we will be releasing one or two craft videos from Page Turner Adventures. Printable directions will also be released each week.

Please also register for and join each weekly Zoom Elementary party and do them together with Ms. Cheryl. In Week 3, June 22nd, we will also start with a PET SHOW as part of our Elementary Zoom and be inviting the preschool story time kids to join us while we all show off our pets. If you are not a Zoom fan, then you can either watch the Page Turner videos on your own or print the directions on www.masonpl.org/read50/

There are some additional supplies that you will need. Typically they are things most families with children have around the house (gluesticks and liquid glue, tape, crayons, scissors, markers, etc.) or that you can buy at the grocery or a dollar store. The additional supplies are listed below.

PLEASE REGISTER ONLY FOR THE NUMBER OF KITS YOU NEED

Prereaders will probably need help.

On June 1st, the remaining kits will be made available to those on the waiting list. I will send out an email by June 1st notifying the waiting list folks about pickup times and how many unclaimed kits are available, first come, first served. Masks are required for pickup, please.

Note to those on the Waiting List: We usually have only six or so unclaimed kits, so... We will have a link to the complete supply list available on the summer reading website. Many more families are registering than we have kits and we hate for anyone to miss the fun!
