Toddler Time
This drop in story time is designed for 2-3.5 year old children and a caretaker. For children under 3 years old: Caregivers must remain in the room. Children 3 & over: Caregivers MUST remain in the library.
We introduce children to many new and traditional books, puppets, and songs. Expect to sing, dance, or play at most sessions. Click here for a printable schedule.

We cancel children’s events whenever Mason City Schools close due to Severe Weather. Delays do not count as closings.
Registration is not required for our story times.
We meet nearly every week year-round.

Super Story Time |
- Super Story Times may last a bit longer & will have special crafts or games. Whenever supplies are limited, we give out free tickets first come, first served starting at 6:45p.m. Children must be present to receive a ticket.
- We encourage children to attend Preschool Time independently while caregivers relax in the library.
